He provides advice on everything from foolproof recipes provided to grammar my favorite part of the book, as he touches specifically on some of my pet peeves. I love that he devotes equal time to both fabulous shoes and his pet grammar peeves.

The sections on fashion and table manners were pretty good, since I didn’t know some of the etiquette with silverware. For example, he recommends that if you throw a party for more than 20 people you hire a bartender.

The book is a feast for the eyes. I’m not sure if this is proper manners, faublous I feel the same way.

I will definitely be using the information on clothing, several of the recipes, some of the entertaining hints, and the wine info was great! I can appreciate why others gave this book three or four stars. Please bring the crab-stuffed mushrooms the next time you come over. I highly recommend it for Marci and Jessica!!!

He shares with his readers such topics as how to look our best, sound our smartest, use good manners, cook a meal, fix a perfect drink, throw the most popular parties, make your home the envy of your neighbors, and generally be the freakin’ fabulous person you always knew you could be.

Once again, I felt like Clinton was a kindred spirit with his recognition and insistence on good table manners. Clinton has a unique voice and is really funny. All in all, this was a great book–even better than I thought it would be, which is always nice.

Other than that I loved the book.

This well written book would be worth the purchase price for the party recipes alone- add in all the rest and you have the perfect gift for almost anyone on your holiday list. This was a pretty funny book. I think he would want us to look Freakin’ Fabulous. Attractive and interesting to read. This book is very wry and snarky, and if you like Kelly’s sense of humor it’s worth checking out. One special treat about the book that I did not expect were the wonderful recipes in it, and how well written the recipes were.

He’s basically trying to show us proper etiquette as well as being cool without trying to hard. It was cute and funny at the first of the book, but by the end I was irritated with him. I’ve met many beautiful people who open their mouths and ruin the effect of their carefully assembled image.

I was surprised both at how useful and how entertainng this book was. Mar 25, Suzanne rated it liked it. His fashion tips were expected, but still useful. Lists with This Book. While yes, I can use a lot of his tips, I am still more “mom” than a cocktail party gal.
