The entire story is very lighthearted allex very comedic in tone. I think I write for young-adults because I never quite got over being one.

There aren’t enough good ones out there of that fairy tale. Because I knew it all was true, the second I got cloaked. Is this a series? At the end of the Book, Flinn lists all of the stories that she drew from, floaked there were waaay more than I was expecting.

The story has several takes on old fairy tales. But a good witch. Something about it just seemed cloked it was written by a girl, which it was. The dog scampers out, looking for something to sniff, but at a signal from the princess, he comes right back and sits behind her.
And then there was the whole shoe theme — a major addiction of mine! I lost count of how many times the main character, Johnny, made me face palm at his dimness and complete inability to read anyone around him. It makes use of some lesser known tales right alongside the more obvious ones, and it uses them all in a way that I can’t help but describe as cute.

The novel is also pretty clean with the exception of some kissing, and like all fairytales it has a moral at the end. Anyway, this is just a hodgepodge of various Grimms’ Fairy-Tales, all because in her first book readers had no idea what Snow White and Rose Red was. Lynn and I both have shoe addictions so there was natural appeal here.
It’s even better because I was wrong. It’s a fun enough book, but it’s very much lacking in depth.
